Poster and Oral Presentations
Both poster and oral presentations will be accepted at our congress. Abstracts must be submitted online via the congress website. The final submission deadline is February 15, 2026.
Poster abstracts will be published in the congress booklet in their original form. Oral presentations may be published either as abstracts or full texts, depending on the primary author's request. Full-text submissions will be re-evaluated by the editors. After acceptance of an oral presentation, the full text must be uploaded to the system within one week, following the guidelines below. Otherwise, the abstract version will be published in the congress booklet.
Abstract Submission Guidelines :
- At least one of the authors must complete the congress registration for the abstract to be considered.
- Abstracts must be submitted online via the congress website www.cocukdostlarikongresi.org using the digiAbstract submission system. Submissions via email, mail or courier will not be accepted.
- The final decision regarding the presentation format (oral or poster) will be made by the Scientific Committee.
Abstract Submission Rules :
- Abstracts will be collected through the digiAbstract submission system; therefore, font size and style will be automatically formatted by the system.
- When entering author names, the surname should be followed by a space and the initials of the given names written together without periods (e.g., Nuhoğlu A.).
- Academic titles must not be used in author names.
- The names of the institutions where the authors work and the city must be clearly indicated. Long addresses and academic titles must not be included (e.g., Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul).
- The name of the institution where the study was conducted must not be mentioned within the abstract text. For example, instead of “Şişli Hamidiye Etfal Hospital,” the term “our hospital” should be used.
- Only the first letter of the abstract title should be capitalized (abbreviations are an exception).
- The presentation type may be selected as “Oral” or “Poster.”
- The abstract must briefly state the objective and methods, summarize the findings with sufficient numerical details, and present the conclusion based on the results.
- Abstracts must be structured according to the following sections, and these section headings must be written in UPPERCASE, each starting on a new line.
- Abstracts submitted with only one author will not be accepted for oral presentation.
For Oral (Research) and Poster (Research) Abstracts, the required sections are:
- INTRODUCTION AND OBJECTIVE
- METHODS
- RESULTS
- DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
For Oral (Case) and Poster (Case) Abstracts, the required sections are:
- OBJECTIVE
- CASE
- CONCLUSION
- The abstract text must not exceed 300 words.
- Since no edits will be made to abstracts submitted through the digiAbstract system, authors must carefully check for spelling and typographical errors. All errors are the responsibility of the authors.
- Tables, figures, graphics, or similar attachments are not permitted in abstracts. Any such elements included will not appear in the printed booklet.
Full Text Submission Guidelines :
- Full texts must be submitted in Microsoft Word format, between 2 to 5 pages, including text, graphics, references, and all attachments.
- Word count must be between 500 and 1000 words, including references.
- Use 12 pt Times New Roman, with 1.5 line spacing.
- Include both Turkish and English abstracts (100–300 words each).
- Title should be 14 pt, bold, and centered with capitalized initials.
- Author names and institutions should be 12 pt, centered.
- Sections should follow this order: ABSTRACT, KEYWORDS, INTRODUCTION, MATERIALS AND METHODS, RESULTS, DISCUSSION, REFERENCES. All section titles should be in uppercase and bold.
- Graphs, tables, and photo captions should be 12 pt bold, and placed within the text.
- Leave one line space between sections.
- Table and figure titles should have only the first word capitalized.
- References should be numbered in parentheses in the order they appear.

- For sources with up to four authors, list all names.
- For five or more authors, list the first four followed by “et al.”
- Use Index Medicus abbreviations for journal names.
- Authors are responsible for the accuracy of references.

Important Notes :
- First-time users of the online abstract module must register via the “New User” link.
- Follow all instructions carefully during submission.
- Abstracts will be published as submitted, so spelling and formatting must be checked thoroughly.
- You can track the evaluation process using your email and password via the system.

Abstract Evaluation
All abstracts will be evaluated anonymously by the Abstract Review Committee. Author names and institutions will be hidden during the review process.
Acceptance & Rejection Notifications
Results of abstract evaluations, including acceptance or rejection and presentation format, will be sent via email starting March 7, 2026.
